Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data, including all letters you've written to your future self. This action cannot be undone.

Delete from the App

If you have the DearFuture app installed, you can delete your account directly from within the app. This is the fastest and most secure way to delete your account.

Follow these steps:

Open DearFuture App

Launch the DearFuture app on your device

Go to Profile

Tap on your profile icon in the top-left corner

Scroll Down

Scroll to the bottom of the Profile drawer

Tap "Delete Account"

Find and tap the "Delete Account" button

Confirm Deletion

Review the warning and confirm your decision to permanently delete your account

Note: You may need to re-authenticate if your session is older than a few minutes for security reasons.

Request Account Deletion

If you no longer have access to the DearFuture app, you can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data here.

This should be the email you used to sign in with Google

Name associated with your DearFuture account

What happens next?

Step 1: We Receive Your Request

Your deletion request is sent to our team for processing

Step 2: Email Verification

We'll send a confirmation email to your registered email address

Step 3: Confirm Deletion

Reply "YES" to the confirmation email to proceed with deletion

Step 4: Account Deleted

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 48 hours
